What the hell is this blog?

Complaining About Books is a blog I've started to chronicle and review the books I read. While the blog is titled 'COMPLAINING About Books', this doesn't mean I'll complain about everything I read. Mostly I'll just give thoughts and criticisms on a work, even if I may or may not have enjoyed it. A common theme with me is picking apart typos and grammar errors because if I don't, then who will?

At the moment I am consuming mostly non-fiction works, primarily political and historical. I do read novels from time to time, but have fallen out of reading them over the last few years.

I will also often retroactively review a book I've already read in the past, but you will never be made aware of this when it happens. You will read any and every review, never knowing if I read the book a week ago or a year ago. This burden of knowledge will eat away at you, an ever-present existential reminder that the world you live in is a twisted web of truths and lies, and you will never know the differences between the two. lol!

This blog also contains lots of cursing, course language and naughty references to bad things. If Google is reading this, please give my site preferential and premium advertisement treatment.

I will review a collection of older books as well as hot new ones. I will try to upload at least thrice a month, depending on how quickly I get through books and how much I decide to give a crap about my life. Check back often and refresh the page a lot so I can get $$$lots of ad money$$$.
